Activities to do in Vendée

With its 8 km of extremely safe gently sloping beaches, Saint Jean de Monts is top for family safety. Most of the cycle paths are located in clean and secured areas for great rides across the forest and wetlands. All year round, the vast beaches are perfect for land sailing.
The Saint Jean de Monts watersports centre offers beginner lessons in a catamaran or optimist, stand-up paddle, windsurfing, land yachting... The "Tonnelles" beach, located just 800 metres from the campsite, is a wide sandy beach, lifeguarded in peak season, ideal for sunbathing, swimming, shellfish gathering, kite flying and walking at sunset...

Don't miss the Vendée Marais Breton located near the campsite. It covers 45,000 hectares of canals, wet meadows and polders unique in France. Explore this picturesque area on foot, by bike or climb on board a canoe.

The Puy du Fou historical theme park boasting spectacular shows is located an hour and a half's drive from the campsite.

The islands of Noirmoutier and Yeu are also must-visits during your stay !
The appeal of the Noirmoutier island is its unusual access, "Le Gois", a submersible road 4 km long which links continent to Noirmoutier, 15 minutes from the campsite.
It takes 30 minutes to reach the Yeu island by boat from Fromentine. This harbour station is 15 minutes from the campsite, by car or by bus.
