Best traditional restaurants near Saint Jean de Monts

If you are looking for the closest bakery from the holiday park, we would recommend Monts Pain in Notre Dame des Monts. The bakery is located 3 km away from Les peupliers de la Rive and sells many typical french pastries and specialities of the region such as le flan maraichin, le délice des chouans and more.

 

 

A nice way to try local food is to buy food at markets.

In Notre Dame de Monts, situated only 3 km from the holiday park, markets are taking place all year long. Every summer, we recommend you try the market at “Place de la Mairie” held on Tuesday mornings to taste local products in a musical atmosphere.

 

On the other side of the holiday park, 4 km away, in Saint Jean de Monts, there are several markets where you can buy local fruits, vegetables, fish and seafood, and other traditional food. Buying from local producers is a good way to be sure your food comes from the region.

Chez Bastien for a menu changing according to the season and awarded with the Cuisine Montoise label.
